Onion Chutney

A rich and flavourful spicy tangy chutney ideal accompaniment for idli, dosa and other south Indian breakfast.


  1. Onion- 250g
  2. Mint- 2-3 stems
  3. Tamarind- 50g
  4. Green chilli- 7-8
  5. Salt- to taste


  1. Boil the tamarind and separate its pulp.
  2. Put all ingredients into a mixie, and grind.
  3. Add the tamarind to the onion and mint mix and stir well. The Onion Chutney is ready to be relished!
