Mixed Chutney

This tangy Mint Coriander Chutney Recipe is bursting with different flavors. Serve it with an appetizer or as a side with any Indian meal because it is a perfect accompaniment to perk up the meal.
Ingredients
- Coriander- 50g
- Mint- 50g
- Onion- 2
- Garlic- 1 bulb
- Peanuts- 1 serving spoon
- White sesame seeds- 1 Serving Spoon
- Coconut- 3 tbsp grated
- Lemons- 2
- Mustard seeds- ½ tsp
- Salt- to taste
- Water- 4-5 tbsp
Ingredients for Tempering/ Tadka
- Mustard seeds- ½ tsp
- White sesame seeds- 1 tsp
- Chana Dal (lentils)- ½ tsp
- Urad Dal (lentils)- ½ tsp
- Whole red chillies- 2
Procedure
- Roast the peanuts, coconut and white sesame seeds.
- Grind coriander, mint, onion, garlic and the roasted ingredients together.
- Temper/ tadka mustard seeds, white sesame seeds, lentils and red chilli in hot oil.
- Once the temper cools down, add to it the ground ingredients.
- Adjust the salt and the Chutney is ready.
