Mango Sweet Chutney

A traditional Mango sweet chutney is a feast to the taste buds.


  1. Raw mangoes- 1kg
  2. Sugar- 1 kg
  3. Garam Masala powder- 25kg
  4. Red chilli powder- 1 tbsp
  5. Salt- 50g
  6. Vinegar- 1 Service spoon


  1. Remove the skin of the mangoes and grate the mangoes.
  2. Empty the grated mango into a pan, with sugar.
  3. Heat the mix.
  4. Keep boiling the mix till it turns to thick residue.
  5. Add garam masala powder, salt, red chilli and vinegar.
  6. Give the mix a boil or two, till it reaches the required consistency.
  7. One can also add raisins and dry dates in the chutney.
  8. The Mango Chutney is now ready!!
