Kachchi Kairi / Raw Mango Chutney from Madhya Pradesh

Is a tangy Indian dip/ chutney made using fresh coriander, mint and raw green mangoes. It is best loved during summers due to its cooling properties.


  1. Pudina/ Mint leaves- 1 cup
  2. Dhania/ Coriander- 1 cup
  3. Kachchi kairi/ Raw Mango- 1/4 cup (can take more kairi if it is not very sour).
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Green chillies to spice quotient
  6. Onion- 1 small cut in cubes
  7. Ginger- 1 cube of 1 inch by 1 inch
  8. Garlic- 7 or 8 big pieces


  1. Add the all together in the grinder and grind coarsely.
  2. Adjust the salt and sourness with lime.

An accompaniment with Paratha, snacks and even chats is ready to eat!
